Tokyo Tower

We got tickets to both the main and upper deck but the coolest part was the windows on the floor where you could look straight down to the ground! All of us, including me who has an issue with heights successfully walked on top of the windows! The Tokyo tower was a gift to Japan from France and looks like the Eiffel Tower. All of Tokyo's TV and Radio stations broadcast off of the tower! It used to be the tallest structure of this type in the world but Dubai ended up building one that was taller. Not to be outdone, the Japanese are now building yet another "Tallest Steel Tower" in the world- it is actually shown in some of our pictures from Asakusa.
